In my portfolio one finds solo, chamber and orchestral music. I have also created electronic music, music for video and interdisciplinary artistic expression, such as experimental music theatre and performance. 

 

Inspiration for my music is drawn from a variety of art forms and philosophical, psychological and neuroscientific theories related to art and music. Curiosity, expectation, friction, ambiguity and playfulness are central themes in my artistic output.

 

My works are performed at Festspillene i Bergen (upcoming), Ultima festival (2020, 2021, 2024), Ung Nordisk Musikk (Sweden 2019, Iceland 2022) and Les Bestiviés in France 2024. Among the ensembles I have written for, one finds Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, SISU (currently), Microtub and Rugle, an ensemble that I co-founded in 2020.

My education is from the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH), where I received a bachelors and masters degree in composition. During my bachelor I spent a year at Universität der Künste in Berlin as an exhchange student. The spring of 2024 I did an internship in composition in Paris with Marco Stroppa as mentor.
